Yunyan cinema tops national rankings

Box office receipts for the Chinese war-themed film Crossing at Yunyan district's Cross Cinema exceeded 1 million yuan ($147,616) as of July 19, having drawn a total of 19,624 admissions. It has emerged as the leading theater nationwide in terms of box office revenue.

To date, the film has sold over 7.75 million tickets across China, raking in 253 million yuan. In terms of city-level box office performance, Beijing, Shanghai, and Guiyang rank among the top three.
