Fudou Coffee from Guiyang's Yunyan district claimed third place in the finals of the 2026 China Barista Championship, ranking among the country's top three for two consecutive years.

The biggest highlight of Fudou Coffee's creative entries in the competition lies in their deep roots in Guizhou's local flavors. By integrating authentic Guizhou ingredients with specialty coffee, the results have broken the public's stereotyped perception of creative coffee.
"We selected two distinctive Guizhou ingredients to create a perfect blend of wild flavors and rich coffee aroma," said Liang Jiachen, founder of Fudou Coffee.

Many judges and audience members praised the specialty coffee infused with perilla seeds after tasting it and were particularly impressed by its unique flavor. This localized creativity breaks conventional approaches to specialty coffee and delivers a refreshing surprise.
