Yunyan attracts emerging tech firms to boost growth

Yunyan district is accelerating its high-quality economic transformation by attracting high-tech enterprises in emerging sectors like commercial aerospace and industrial design.

A major highlight is the entry of the province's first micro-nano satellite manufacturer, Zjuni-Sat (Guiyang) Aerospace Technology Co, which produces compact satellites at one-tenth of traditional costs.

Simultaneously, the district has deepened Guangdong-Guizhou cooperation by establishing the Guizhou Industrial Design City. Since late 2024, the hub has gathered over 20 design and tech firms, including advanced signage design institutions and a 3D-printed denture enterprise. The platform has already partnered with over 200 local businesses, aiming to empower Guizhou's six major industrial clusters.

To foster an interconnected industrial ecosystem, local authorities are optimizing operational services. "The company will focus on serving enterprises and strengthening industries," said Wang Jiangtao, chairman of ‌Guiyang Yunyan Jingkai Industry Development Group Co. "We will turn the Yunyan Economic Development Zone into the province's industrial economic service center by providing government service processing, accommodation, and cafeterias."

Yunyan district is improving business services and investment support to strengthen collaboration across the industrial supply chain and drive high-quality economic growth.
