​Yunyan sees tourist surge during Qingming Festival holiday

During the Qingming Festival holiday from April 4 to 6, A-level tourist attractions in Guiyang's Yunyan district received a total of 237,100 tourists, a year-on-year increase of 47.28 percent.

As a towering mountain park in the urban center, Qianlingshan Park became the top destination for family trips. The park received 226,200 tourists over the holiday, up 42.43 percent year-on-year and accounting for more than 95 percent of visitors to all attractions in the district.

Urban areas also delivered impressive performances, with certain blocks enjoying booming popularity. Among them, Xinyin Discovery 1950 received 128,600 tourists, emerging as a dark horse among the blocks.

Taiping Road Block received 70,700 visitors, while Minsheng Road received nearly 45,000. Diverse catering, cultural and creative industries, as well as night-time tourism in these blocks, cater to the demands of family tourists and young visitors alike.
