New secret code of Yunyan's street economy

During the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays from Oct 1 to 8, the streets and alleys of Yunyan district were filled with unique vitality. "Coffee during the day and alcohol at night" has become the new secret code of street economy.

At Seek Seeking coffee shop, located at No 22 Yantang Street, customers were waiting in line to place an order. "I saw this coffee shop online and happened to be nearby. Their milk coffee is amazing," said Qian Ningyi, a tourist from Shaoxing.

As the heart of Guiyang's coffee culture, Yunyan district is home to over 10 coffee shops managed by world-class champions. In the Wenchangge area alone, more than 40 coffee shops, including 1+1 Coffee, MIA Coffee, and Captain George, form a coffee maze, attracting countless fans with unique flavors and creative atmospheres.

As night falls, the streets of Yunyan switch to tipsy mode. More than 20 craft beer bars along Taiping Road attract many locals and tourists. Most remain open until midnight, making this area a hub for nighttime socializing.

"Here, drinking is more like exploration and communication," said a craft beer enthusiast, "People will open up topics because of the flavor of a wine, and socializing becomes more relaxed."
