Yunyan sees tourism surge during holiday

During the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays, Yunyan district received 1.66 million tourists, a year-on-year increase of 16.59 percent, and achieved revenue of 1.35 billion yuan ($189.2 million), up 18.15 percent year-on-year.

A-level tourist attractions in the district received a total of 669,400 visitors, a year-on-year increase of 27.19 percent. Among them, Qianlingshan Park received a total of 629,700 visitors, a year-on-year increase of 21 percent, with a cumulative operating income of about 1.93 million yuan. Yangming Temple received a total of 8,080 visitors, while Wenchang Pavilion received 31,600 visitors.

Minsheng Road block welcomed a large number of tourists from all over the country. Delicious Street welcomed nearly 187,800 visitors, leading to total tourism revenue of about 2.27 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.6 percent. The Taiping Road block received a total of approximately 318,000 visitors and generated revenue of 2.59 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6 percent Xinyin 1950 Discovery received a total of about 195,800 visitors, with total tourism revenue of about 4.75 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 29.87 percent.
