Yunyan district combines cultural tourism with investment promotion

Yunyan district is capitalizing on Guizhou province's peak tourism season, to seize new opportunities through its "cultural tourism + investment promotion" model.

In July, Yunyan district invited representatives from leading enterprises including catering, accommodation, and travel agencies to experience the district's cultural and tourism resources and further enhance the visibility and influence of its cultural and tourism industry.

The representatives experienced the historical culture and consumption vitality of Yunyan at renowned sites such as Qianlingshan Park, Taiping Road, and Minsheng Road, expressing a strong desire to deepen cooperation with the district in the development of cultural and tourism projects, hotel construction, and building catering brands and promote the development of Yunyan's cultural tourism industry.

A delegation of nearly 100 company representatives from Malaysia visited Yunyan district in August to inspect cultural protection and urban renewal projects. The members said that they look forward to cooperating with Yunyan in cultural and tourism development, urban operation, and related industries.

In the first half of 2025, Yunyan district introduced 44 key investment projects with a total contract investment of 5.07 billion yuan ($712.56 million).

A Yunyan district representative said that they will take this summer vacation season as an opportunity to improve the supporting facilities of the cultural tourism industry, enhance service quality, and provide investors with a better business environment, turning Yunyan into a well-known cultural and tourism destination in Guizhou province and achieving a harmonious balance between the cultural and tourism industry and economic development.
