Yunyan district sees tourism surge during Dragon Boat Festival

During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday from May 31 to June 2, the number of tourists in Yunyan district exceeded 456,000, a year-on-year increase of 15.18 percent, with total tourism revenue reaching approximately 367 million yuan ($51.09 million), a year-on-year increase of 16.14 percent.

A-level tourist attractions in the district, including Qianlingshan Park, Yangming Temple, and Wenchang Pavilion, received a total of 172,800 visitors, an increase of 69.69 percent year-on-year.

The district also offered a variety of themed cultural tourism and performing arts activities, such as the Wenchang Pavilion roadside concert, parent-child activities, and cultural markets, providing citizens and tourists with a colorful holiday experience.

A representative of the district's cultural and tourism bureau stated that the district's tourism market was stable and orderly, with no major safety accidents or tourism complaints during the holiday.
