Yunyan district seizes investment opportunities

Yunyan district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is seizing major strategic opportunities, focusing on key industries and high-quality resources, to promote the acceleration, improvement, and efficiency of regional economic development.

This year, the district has signed cooperation agreements with China Vanke Co, Longfor Group Holdings, and ArcherMind Technology in key areas such as urban culture and tourism, urban upgrade, and digital economy. Key projects with large investment volumes and strong demonstration effects have been implemented, promoting the mutual empowerment and development of urban culture and tourism, industrial upgrading, and digital transformation.

Guizhou Industrial Design City, located in Yunyan Industrial Park, selected 34 Guizhou works for the international stage at the 2025 Milan Design Week in April, attracting the attention of design agencies, professional audiences, and partners from multiple countries, further enhancing the influence of "Guizhou Design".

The "fund + investment" model is essential for the district's investment promotion. Sichuan San Shi Technology settled in Yunyan Industrial Park in 2024 and started construction in the first quarter of 2025. The company focuses on "artificial intelligence + machine" vision solutions and has been selected as a national high-tech enterprise directory. Once completed, it is expected to provide important technical support for the development of regional intelligent manufacturing.

By April, Yunyan had signed 32 investment projects, with a total investment of 4.65 billion yuan ($641.8 million), covering multiple key areas such as industrial manufacturing, big data applications, and modern service industries.

The district will continue optimizing the business environment, strengthening service guarantees, introducing promising projects, attracting investment, and promoting high-quality economic and social development.
