With the end of the Spring Festival holiday, industrial enterprises in the Yunyan district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, swiftly resume operations. They now focus on fulfilling orders and boosting production, eager to secure a strong start to the first quarter.
All 37 industrial enterprises in the district above a designated size – those with an annual output value of 20 million yuan ($2.74 million) or more – have resumed work.
Normal operations have resumed at Guizhou Kehui Pharmaceutical Co along Wufeng Road. Employees diligently work on the production lines, operating machines and packaging medications, contributing to the district's recovery efforts.
At Guizhou Xiangxiamei Food Co on Jinhua Street, workers are engaged in production for the new year. With large orders ahead, the company returned to work as early as the fourth day of the New Year, with 85 percent of staff members returning to production. Deng Shenghong, the company's general manager, shared that a 2-million-yuan investment has upgraded production equipment, increasing output by 30 percent.
At Guizhou Cheliangbang Technology Co Yunyan Industrial Park, staff members quickly returned on the first day after the festival, exemplifying a spirit of action.
As a leading high-tech enterprise, Cheliangbang is focused on expanding its market and advancing product applications, aiming for a first-quarter revenue of 30 million yuan.
Yunyan district's bureau of industry and information technology emphasized that the district follows provincial guidelines to promote the recovery and growth of industrial enterprises, ensuring a solid start to the region's industrial economy this year.
