Qianlingshan Park carnival: A celebration of flavor, fun

As Spring Festival approaches, Qianlingshan Park in Yunyan district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has come alive with a vibrant Chinese New Year Carnival, which kicked off on Dec 27, 2024, and will until Feb 16, 2025.

This exciting event is drawing visitors and exhibitors nationwide for a celebration brimming with festive spirit.

Stepping into the park, guests are greeted by a lively atmosphere filled with red lanterns swaying gently above colorful stalls, radiating an irresistible Chinese New Year charm.

The carnival's marketplace is a food lover's paradise, featuring specialties from across China. From Inner Mongolia autonomous region's delicacies and Dalian's sizzling squid to Hainan coconut milk and Tianjin baozi, the culinary lineup is a feast for the senses.

Guizhou's local treats are also a noteworthy highlight, with offerings like savory cured meats, handmade tangyuan, and specialty dishes from Qingyan Ancient Town. Each booth invites visitors to savor the rich and diverse flavors of the region.
