Yunyan district's community health centers implemented extended service hours in 2024 to meet diverse patient needs. These included evening, weekend, and holiday clinics, ensuring that working professionals, students, and the elderly could access medical care without disrupting their schedules.

All community health service centers in the district now offer weekend clinics and services on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Over 50 percent have extended operations to Saturday and Sunday afternoons. More than 80 percent of general outpatient services now operate until 8 pm, and some facilities offer 24-hour care.

Weekend services include specialties such as traditional Chinese medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, dentistry, immunization, and rehabilitation, tailored to meet local demands. This approach has supported Yunyan's goal of creating a "15-minute healthcare service circle", ensuring residents can access basic healthcare within a short walk.

Collaboration with tertiary hospitals has also enhanced service quality through expert consultations, talent training, and resource sharing. Over 1,850 specialist visits have been conducted, benefiting nearly 5,000 patients.

Community healthcare accessibility has significantly improved, with 103 family doctor teams providing health consultations to over 50,000 residents and efficient referral channels established. Patient satisfaction has reached 93.91 percent, reflecting the positive impact of these initiatives on local healthcare.
