An 18-member media delegation comprising journalists from national renowned media outlets and social media influencers visited Yunyan district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on July 8.

They explored the city's new landmarks - Xinyin 1950 Discovery and Taiping Road, while savoring authentic local delicacies.

At Xinyin 1950 Discovery, staff members guided the delegation through a culinary journey featuring Guizhou's signature dishes like Siwawa spring roll and sour soup beef. The delegation also explored the City Exhibition Hall, a repository of Guiyang's urban memories, as well as the Guizhou Xinhua Printing Experience Hall and Sunmao Terrace.

Venturing into Taiping Road, the media troupe wandered through iconic locales such as Beimen Bridge, Shuijie Street, and Longjing Bridge, immersing themselves in the local nightlife culture and exchanging thoughts on their experiences in Yunyan.

"Hailing from Hong Kong, I took a high-speed train from Shenzhen to Guiyang. The most striking aspect for me has been the temperature difference. The weather here is refreshingly cool, incredibly comfortable. The two places we explored are a blend of modernity and rich urban history. I believe such unique districts would greatly appeal to residents of Hong Kong or Guangdong," remarked self-media influencer Simon.
