Yunyan celebrates upcoming Lantern Festival

On Feb 21, the residents of the Fushui community, located in the Wenchangge sub-district of Yunyan district in Guiyang, joined forces with Guiyang No 19 Middle School to celebrate the upcoming Lantern Festival.

The local elderly residents were invited to lead the making of tangyuan, traditional sweet rice balls. Through these activities, the aim was to enhance the well-being of community residents, foster harmonious relationships among neighbors, and create a positive atmosphere for the upcoming Lantern Festival.

Along the cultural corridor, children gathered around quiz stations, eagerly responding to questions about waste sorting. Those who answered correctly received small prizes, adding to the joyful atmosphere.

In another area of the community, doctors and nurses from the Zhonghua Community Health Service Center provided free medical check-ups for the elderly residents, and patiently addressed their inquiries by providing detailed explanations.
