Yunyan creates ideal environment for talent growth

Yunyan district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is optimizing the environment for talent development to provide strong talent support and intellectual guarantees for the district's high-quality development.

In recent years, Yunyan has introduced more than 10 policies and measures related to funding support, platform construction, housing guarantees, and more to attract talent.

To address the housing difficulties faced by new residents and young people, Yunyan has established a leadership group for talent housing security.

More than 5,000 sets of talent housing have been built, including single rooms, one-bedroom apartments, and two-bedroom apartments. There are currently five talent housing projects in Yunyan, with 2,493 sets of housing already occupied by 4,244 people.

Yunyan has also provided employment guidance and financial support for college and university graduates.

Since last year, Yunyan has collected more than 35,000 job vacancies and organized and participated in more than 50 specialized online and offline job fairs and employment guidance events for graduates, helping more than 24,000 people find employment. 

Moving forward, Yunyan will continue to introduce talent suited to its industrial development direction and strengthen service guarantees to lure more talent.
