Yunyan district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently enacted plans to develop its building economy in 2021-25.

The plans proposed that, by the end of 2025, Yunyan's building carrier area should exceed 6 million square meters, and building tax revenue should exceed 20 billion yuan ($3.14 billion).

In the next five years, Yunyan will accelerate the construction of building carriers, promote the construction of buildings involved in projects such as Wuyue Plaza on Renmin Avenue, and encourage developers to carry out industry positioning and investment planning while carrying out construction projects.

The district will rely on building, service outsourcing, foreign trade, trade circulation, big data, accounting, law firms, finance, industry, and parks to attract more investment.

Yunyan will also encourage the upgrading and renovation of old buildings and invest in hardware renovations for the facades and interiors of buildings to improve their quality.

After five years of efforts, Yunyan should be home to 69 headquarters projects, including 14 buildings with a tax revenue of 100 million yuan each, and a modern service industry cluster area should be built.
