Yunyan district home to 15 talent bases

Yunyan district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has attached great importance to talents and made significant efforts to attract talents in recent years, according to local media reports.

The district has focused on the development mechanism for innovative talents and launched a three-year talent plan (2019-21) to serve local high-quality opening-up and economic development.

A scientific and standard, open and inclusive and efficient talent work system has also been set up in Yunyan district.

In recent years, the district has encouraged technological innovation and talent cultivation and training. It has provided financial support to key enterprises' technological projects, with a total amount of more than 34 million yuan ($5.25 million).

In addition, it pushed the construction of talent platforms and has established 15 talent bases involving areas such as big data, health and medicine, tourism, mid-to-high-end commerce and vocational skills, helping to develop these areas and gather more professionals.
