Yunyan district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is conducting nucleic acid testing for key groups, according to local media reports.

The district's Qianling hospital is one of the testing organizations. Since Jan 18, it has conducted testing for nearly 2,000 people.

All people coming to be tested need to wear a mask, get their body temperature measured, wait in line and register using their real names.

Hospital officials said that a large number of people need to receive the test, making the testing work arduous.

The hospital established a working group to oversee the testing. Front-line and logistics personnel are working 24 hours a day to ensure the smooth progress of nucleic acid testing and prompt release of test results.
