New entertainment complexes boost consumption in Yunyan

Two newly-opened business complexes in Yunyan district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, have attracted 829,800 guest visits and achieved sales revenue of 64.14 million yuan ($9.62 million) over a three-day period.

The Shubo Wanda Plaza and THE ONE Shopping Mall were opened on Dec 18 and 19, respectively, bringing the total number of business complexes in Yunyan to 11. The district now accounts for one-third of Guiyang's shopping center facilities.

Shubo Wanda Plaza is located in the Sanma area's core circle and is the second Wanda Plaza in Yunyan district.

The plaza gathers 21 characteristics stores and 198 high-quality brands and features interior design elements inspired by Guizhou's karst landscape.

From Dec 18 to 20, guests made 579,800 visits to the plaza, which achieved sales revenue of 48.44 million yuan.

The 70,000-square-meter THE ONE Shopping Mall is a vital part of Yunyan district's urban area renovations.

The shopping mall's interior design is divided into different themed areas, including the retro Hong Kong-style zone, exclusive female themed space and trendy international video game space. 

It aims to provide a fashion consumption experience for visitors and build itself into a new business landmark in the city.

Over three days, THE ONE shopping mall saw 250,000 visits and generated a total sales revenue of 15.70 million yuan.
