Yunyan inks seven project contracts with $3.36b investment

Seven project contracts with a total investment amount of 22.4 billion yuan ($3.36 billion) were signed on Dec 15 in Yunyan district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The projects involve many fields, including home building materials, culture and tourism, healthcare, industrial park operations, mid-to-high-end commerce, new energy, energy conservation and environmental protection.

The contracted companies are well-known domestic and foreign enterprises with strong competitiveness, advanced operational capacity and high-tech achievements.

The signing of these project agreements marks achievements made by Yunyan in expanding opening-up and strengthening business promotion.

At a signing ceremony held in Yunyan's administration center on Dec 15, district head Wang Qian pointed out that Yunyan district will strive to advance urbanization, industrialization and tourism industrialization during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25). This goal will bring significant investment opportunities and broad development space.

The Yunyan district government welcomes more enterprises to invest and start businesses in the district and will build a more robust business environment to serve investors.
