Yunyan, Guian New Area cooperate to create industrial park

Yunyan district signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Guian New Area on Nov 2 to establish the Guian-Yunyan Industrial Park.

A signing ceremony was held between the two sides in Guian New Area.

Tang Xinglun, the deputy director of the management committee of Guian New Area, extended a warm welcome to the delegation led by Wang Qian, the head of Yunyan district's government.

Tang said that as the central district of Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, Yunyan has leading advantages in urban, industry and service development.

The signing of the agreement signifies that the two sides have deepened cooperation to a higher level, Tang added.

Both sides would further leverage their respective advantages to jointly carry out investment promotion and industrial development for a high-end equipment manufacturing industrial park in Guian New Area.

Tang also expressed his hopes that the two sides can improve a normalization work mechanism, promote the implementation of relevant policies and encourage demonstrative properties to settle in the industrial park.

Wang echoed Tang's proposals and said that efforts would be made to build Guian-Yunyan Industrial Park into a high-quality model park, exploring new paths and setting an example for Guiyang-Guian regional cooperation and integration development.
