As of Feb 24, all industrial enterprises above a designated size, those with annual revenue of 20 million yuan ($2.85 million) or more, in Yunyan district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, had returned normal work.

The first industrial enterprise above the designated size to go back to work in the district, Yongji Printing Co, officially started the presses rolling again on Feb 12 after completing registration and other related procedures.

"At present, the company's workshops for gravures, offset printing, hot stamping and quality inspections have resumed production. More than 370 employees have resumed work with a return rate of over 90 percent," said Huang Kai, deputy general manager of Yongji Printing Co.

In order to ensure the health of its employees, in addition to disinfecting all areas more than twice a day, the company also conducts three temperature tests on employees and implements a system of eating at different times, he added.

After the resumption of work, the company communicated with clients to coordinate the delivery times of the orders.

With the effort of all employees, it is expected that a return to full production will be achieved by the end of the month, Huang said.

Another industrial enterprises above a designated size in Yunyan district, Guiyang Runfeng Pharmaceutical Co resumed operating on Feb 13.

Runfeng Pharmaceutical Co also produces sterilized alcohol on its pharmaceutical production line, helping to alleviate the shortage of resources on the market, a spokeswoman said.
