Yunyan district steps up civilized city efforts

Yunyan district, Guiyang city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, deployed the improvement work for its civilized city construction for 2019 at a meeting held on Aug 8.

Du Lingyun, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Yunyan District Committee and head of the district's publicity department, presided over the meeting.

During the meeting, the participants learned about the Guiyang Municipal Party Committee's supervision and examination of the district's civilized city construction. 

Yunyan's office of the spiritual civilization construction steering committee reported on existing problems, and made arrangements for the improvement. It also planned this year's voluntary service for household garbage sorting in the district.

Improvement of the national civilized city calls for long-term and systematic efforts, and requires the district to attach great importance to practice and implementation.

As one of its central urban districts, Yunan has played an important role in building Guiyang into a national civilized city, said the meeting. All departments and communities need to increase efforts to find problems and make improvements.

The responsible persons of various functional departments and communities or towns in Yunyan district attended the meeting.
